I too ordered firewood last week and it refuses to maintain a decent fire. It smolders and smokes. Only way to keep the fire going is to keep the door open for increased air to compensate. I purchased a bundle of seasoned mixed wood at my local Shop Rite and got just the opposite results. The fire rages with the supermarket bought wood. Now I know it’s the wood. Denny’s wood is so heavy. The drier wood from the supermarket is much lighter, , not doubt because it’s properly seasoned. Denny says he has not received complaints from other customers about his wood, but I know now this can’t be the case. Please, if anyone else is experiencing similar problems please post your feedback here.

This guy is a cartoon. People like him are what has made the state of New Jersey synonymous with shysters and riff raff. I was ripped off by him twice. About a month after having been delivered some rather expensive firewood, he called to see if I wanted to order more. When I told him my previous order was green and less than a cord he said he would “make it right”. He did so by saying he would only charge me for half a cord on the next cord… fair enough. I decide to give him a second chance. This time he delivers me less then a HALF a cord, again, green wet wood pawned off as aged firewood. The nerve to deliver me less then half a cord when my major complaint the previous order was that he had shorted me the last time, like I am so stupid I don’t know how to measure 4 x 4 x 8? It’s like this clown gets his jollys ripping people off. Also, I seriously doubt any favorable reviews posted of this charlatan are real, but more likely just shills posted by Wiggers himself. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

I saw in my local paper regarding Denny Wiggers and how he was an expert with Christmas Lighting. I now wonder who he paid off for the paper to publish that he’s an expert and seeing the other negative reviews I guess I wasn’t alone. I called Denny Wiggers, two guys showed up with poor speaking communication and without knowing what they were doing attempted to decorate several of my trees. A complete mess, worst Christmas lighting ever.

My review about Denny Wiggers Landscaping and the nightmarish events. I had read where Denny Wiggers Landscaping provided Christmas decorating services in Bergen County, NJ. I phoned the company and the owner (Denny Wiggers) visited my house the next day. Denny provided a quote and told me how he could make a wonderful Christmas lighting and decorating design with my outside. Once I agreed (December 2, provided full payment) than Denny said the decorating would begin right away. A week goes by and no phone calls, no visits to decorate. I call Denny Wiggers Landscaping and talked to someone that tells me that Denny will be calling soon. Another week goes by and same result, then final few days before Christmas and a couple of people arrive and put up some lights on the trees and that’s it. Half the lights didn’t work, called and they said again, Denny will be calling you. This has been a complete NIGHTMARE. Denny Wiggers is a slick snake-oil salesman and that’s it. Don’t use him.

I have been ripped off. Do not recommend Denny Wiggers. Hidden service change, less than a cord, ridiculously odd sized mismatched wood and it was so green it felt like iron. The stuff would hardly burn it was so wet. I called and complained and Denny or whoever said he would remedy the situation in a few days, but it never happened.

After reading the many negative reviews about Denny Wiggers Gardens and their firewood, I felt I should be obligated to share my horrible experience with Denny Wiggers Gardens in Paramus New Jersey. I ordered online for firewood in bergen county nj where I live, and paid extra for the stacking of the firewood. Beginning of the disaster, I asked for the firewood to be delivered while I was home at a certain time of the day. The person did not arrive at the scheduled time, the delivery truck left lots of mud and oil all over my driveway, the firewood was NOT stacked but instead dumped all over my backyard, did NOT include the free kindling, the firewood itself was not seasoned and had mildew all over the firewood.

Good luck trying to get Denny Wiggers Gardens to clean up their muddy, oil mess, bring you firewood that is actually seasoned and not molded. I won’t be buying firewood or anything else ever again from Denny Wiggers Gardens.
